An engaging and entertaining consumer campaign focused on communicating the importance of using an accredited electrical contractor.
Objectives
RBH were tasked by Certsure to deliver a national campaign that would highlight the importance of using an accredited NICEIC electrical engineer, ultimately generating leads for existing members whilst encouraging prospective members to register.
Insight
We found that there was a scarily high lack of knowledge around electrical safety in the home, which highlighted a clear need to encourage safe installations and repairs.
Solution
We delivered a commercial featuring a genuine NICEIC electrical engineer facing a barrage of questions from a group of junior school kids. The session ends abruptly when the teacher joins in with a question of his own.
Results
Running nationally over a 3-month campaign period, the commercial was rolled out across ITV video-on-demand, Sky video-on-demand, YouTube and social media achieving:
- 440,000 views on the NICEIC You Tube channel (a record for NICEIC)
- 343,000 impressions on ITV VOD
- 375,000 impressions on Sky VOD with 95% viewing the full 100%
- 408,000 full video views on pre-roll
