RBH appointed as Develop Training’s retained PR agency

West Midlands-based, RBH, has been appointed by Develop Training as its retained PR agency.

As part of the brief, RBH is tasked with raising the profile of the accredited training provider and will be responsible for managing a proactive calendar of PR and media relations, as well as for delivering content for Develop Training’s website.

News of the Develop Training win marks a major success for the independent, creative communications agency and an expansion of its partnership with the JTL Group, which Develop Training is part of. Concerned with improving standards and safety across a broad spectrum of technical industries, the JTL Group provides a range of educational training and certification programmes and includes current RBH clients, CompEx and JTL.

Widely considered one of the UK’s leading accredited providers of compliance, technical and safety training, Develop Training supports the continuing professional development of individuals working within a wide range of industries. Training on average over 30,000 learners each year, the company provides services for some of the UK’s largest and best-known organisations from the utilities, construction, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors, amongst many others.

Rebecca Williams, Agency Partner (PR), says: “We’re delighted to be working with Develop Training to help drive engagement and interest in its services. After such long-standing and successful partnerships with CompEx and JTL, we feel that this win stands as testament to how well we understand the unique needs of the JTL Group.

“Over the course of our three-year partnership with the JTL Group, we have consistently demonstrated our ability to make connections and build invaluable networks with trade and regional publications, as well as our skill at crafting highly tailored, creative strategies to support our clients’ needs. We look forward to applying each of these insights and skills to helping raise Develop Training’s profile and support its continued growth as a company.”

Sanjeev Gill, Head of Business Development, added: “It was important for us to find a communications agency which has a reputation for delivering high-quality services to training organisations’ like Develop Training. With RBH, we could not be in safer, or more well-trusted, hands. RBH has consistently demonstrated their proactive approach to helping clients fulfil their needs, as well as their in-depth understanding of the sectors we operate in. We are extremely pleased to be working with them at such an exciting time for our business.”

Gen Z doesn’t love TikTok like it used to

Gen Z is TikTok’s most important audience. It has been ever since Musical.ly emerged in 2014, and it still represents roughly 60% of TikTok’s users today. Without a doubt, the group constitutes its most important relationship. So, I can only imagine how worrying it’s been for TikTok since the new Harris Poll report reported 60% of Gen Z no longer consider the platform to be trustworthy in 2026.

What is the meaning of advertising?

What is the meaning of advertising?

Sell stuff. Right? Sort of. The problem with that definition of advertising is that it’s not strictly about selling, it’s more often about informing. Communicate stuff might be a better definition, because that’s what it normally comes down to: communication. The meaning of advertising is ultimately to improve a dialogue between two subjects, often a brand and the consumer.
