Awareness Campaign with Foka Wolf

Objectives

We were commissioned by charity Young People First to create a bold and impactful campaign that would generate debate and raise awareness of the range of problems disadvantaged young people face on the edges of society.

Insight

Young people falling off the radar was not a cause that had been front of mind despite the consistent attack on financial support and resources. This lack of awareness puts young people’s charities down the donor priority list.

Solution

We grabbed attention via a disruptive approach using street artist Foka Wolf to work up three spoof poster concepts that were displayed in Leamington Spa using deliberately controversial copy lines that focused on the desperate measures that disadvantaged young people might resort to.

Results

The campaign generated significant PR coverage which included interviews with our YPF client. In addition, website visits increased dramatically, social coverage shot through the roof, and we picked up a trophy at the prestigious Roses Creative Awards.
