Sky By The Water

Objectives

A new rooftop bar and restaurant opened up at the end of 2018 at Resorts World Birmingham called Sky By The Water. RBH were tasked with building awareness of the new bar/restaurant and their offerings.

Insight

There are plenty of fine dining options in Birmingham but many without the view that Sky By The Water offers. Not only can visitors enjoy a 5 star meal but enjoy unique cocktails, enjoy the garden area and also afternoon tea.

Solution

An expansion to the already existing Google Ads account to cover a wider range of food & beverage keywords and audiences.
Launch two different types of creative on the Google Display Network and A/B tested between both the brand led or cuisine/food led artwork. These contained a mixture of static and animated assets.
The creation of a video campaign on the YouTube network representing everything the rooftop bar and restaurant had to offer.

Results

  • The campaign distributed over 3 million impressions, exceeding both channel & industry benchmarks alongside increasing the daily tracked mentions of the brand (restaurant and bar) name by 250%.
  • Even with it being an Awareness driven campaign with no solid CTA, conversions were not short in number.
