Objectives
Long-time RBH client, Church End Brewery, tasked us maximising sales of brewery products by leveraging the intense build-up to the historical EU Referendum vote.
Insight
As leave and remain campaigns dominated the media, the EU Referendum quickly became the biggest and most heated talking point among UK pub patrons.
Solution
Why name and promote one ale when you can name and promote two? EU Beauty and Screw EU became a huge talking point in pubs, supported by an integrated campaign including posters, beermats, a spoof election campaign film and a microsite aimed at capturing votes.
Results
Church End Free Trade outlets usually make one-barrel orders. By producing ‘In’ and ‘Out’ brews all outlets took two barrels which doubled sales.
