RBH and Certsure win four Construction Marketing Awards

Having worked collaboratively with the fantastic Certsure to create the ‘18th Edition Launch’ Campaign, we’re proud to announce that four awards were won at this year’s Construction Marketing Awards (CMA).

Certsure tasked RBH with delivering an integrated campaign for both new and existing members, in a bid to generate enthusiasm around a seemingly mundane book of regulations for the electrical industry. The aim of the campaign was also to boost pre-orders and drive sales of other publications and associated training courses.

The campaign was captured in 1950s-style film posters, complete with vibrant illustrations to engage the target audience and generate excitement around the launch event. In addition to trade press, digital advertising, social media, event graphics, direct mail and animated films, the campaign was innovatively brought to life via a live satellite transmission which was beamed to electricians across 40 UK cinemas.

The results were electrifying with training sales increasing by 265%, publication sales rising by 430% and total sales growing by 396% versus the same period in 2015. On top of this, over 6,200 tickets were sold for the live cinema event making it the largest electrical industry event ever.

A CMA judge commented: “The whole campaign, start to finish, was superb. A hugely impressive campaign underpinned by demonstrable use of insight and creative design. A well targeted brilliantly conceived, bold campaign. Great execution and absolutely outstanding results on every measure, it hit smart objectives, hit sales targets. Hats off to Certsure – I love it!”
