RBH Wins Silver at the CIPR Awards

RBH's 'Turning the Region Orange' campaign for West Midlands Railway brings home a CIPR MIdlands PRide Award

We’re proud to announce that RBH has won silver for its ‘Turning the Region Orange’ campaign in the Transport or Automotive Campaign category at the CIPR Midlands PRide Awards 2018.

Our Client, West Midlands Railway (WMR), tasked us to create a regional campaign that would enable the train operator to embed itself into the heart of the Midlands community and establish itself as the go-to network for travel.

With the aim of showcasing WMR’s commitment to transforming rail travel across the region, we created the ‘Turning the Region Orange’ campaign, which involved lighting up famous landmarks across the Midlands in its distinctive orange.

Iconic monuments in Birmingham, including Library of Birmingham and Bull at Bullring, were illuminated or wrapped in WMR’s recognisable brand colour to remind passengers of its robust railway links across the Midlands. Other key landmarks, such as Coventry’s Lady Godiva statue and the New Art Gallery in Walsall, were also lit up in orange during the takeover.
