Church End Brewery wins bronze in the Beermat of the Year Awards

Midlands-based, independent craft brewers and RBH client, Church End Brewery, has been awarded bronze in the British Beermat Collectors Society Annual ‘Beermat of the Year’ awards.

Continuing their on-going work with the brewers, the RBH creative team developed a concept to reflect the award-winning, Church End beer, Goat’s Milk, on to a beermat.

Church End Brewery has enjoyed a successful 2017, including its brewed beer, Goat’s Milk, being announced as the winner of the Supreme Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) – the highest beer accolade in the country.

The beermat pulls on both the prestige of the GBBF award, as well as the beer’s name, resulting in the witty strapline, ‘World Bleater’ – a real crowd pleaser, which saw the judges of the British Beermat Collectors Society crowns Church End Brewery with bronze.

Tim Rees, founding partner of RBH, commented: “The Church End Brewery has a fantastic team of people and we are so pleased to see them going from strength to strength. We are really looking forward to working with them on new projects in the coming year.”

The British Beermat Collectors Society holds both regional and national meetings, where they obtain as many beer mats as possible that were issued during the previous 12 months. The society officials then choose what they consider to be the most attractive mats, so the members can vote on what should be ‘Single Mat of the Year’ and ‘Set Mats of the Year’.
