On Thursday 14th January account handlers Louise and Alice attended this year’s Fashion Digital LDN event held in The Tower Hotel overlooking the River Thames and the impressive Tower Bridge.

The Fashion Digital LDN conference brings together the most fashionable internet marketers and tech gurus looking to share insight into strategies and tactics to meet and exceed consumer omni-channel expectations, as well as discover the latest marketing trends and new technology.

The day was made up of panel discussions and strategic workshops run by a range of key industry experts. Topics explored included global strategy, email marketing, personalisation and mobile and social commerce.

Guest speakers shared their views on the future of the industry with discussions around trends, strategies and solutions for 2016 – how the customer journey is changing, new best practices when using channels such as email and mobile, and our favourite session of the day the behaviours of the luxury consumer.

Key speakers included representatives from VestiaireCollective.com, ShopStyle, Lyst and dotmailer. Speakers from Net a Porter also emphasised the importance of search marketing for the luxury fashion market and the importance of consistent brand content across multiple channels.

It was a really thought-provoking day with lots of interesting points to consider and some great insight to share with the rest of the RBH team and our clients.
