What A Week

It’s been a week of Birmingham based eating, drinking and networking – not that we’re complaining!

This week we’ve attended The Drum Network Lunch at Lasan, the PRCA West Midlands Leaders Lunch at Hotel Du Vin and the CBI West Midlands Annual Dinner at the ICC Birmingham. We’ve experienced great food, brilliant service and have had some really interesting conversations along the way, our waistlines however aren’t looking quite so good…

The Drum Network event was attended by our Chairman Tim Rees, Agency Partner Angel Gibbons and PR Lead Holly Kerrigan. The seven course taster menu was divine and the food literally kept on coming – thank you to our hosts at The Drum Network.

The PRCA lunch was chaired by the NEC Group’s Head of Communications Katy Anderson and the EU Referendum debate facilitated by Adrian Wheeler, the event saw some extremely thought-provoking arguments for both sides, as well as great food, wine and company.

At the CBI dinner attended by New Business Manager Danielle Barnsley, President Paul Drechsler CBE and Antnio Simões Chief Executive Officer for HSBC Bank Plc, were the guest speakers for the evening. The focus of the event was the social responsibilities of our communities and businesses to consider the future of children across the region, concluding with a charity raffle for Birmingham’s Children Hospital.
